Iva Pfeiffer Creations is a demi-couture designer label, focusing on customised, special event womenswear, based in Melbourne Australia.

Renowned for luxe fabrics, small runs, intricate designs and an ethical supply chain, the brand is at the forefront of an emerging new trend – high end, ethical Australian fashion design brands. Founder Iva Pfeiffer's aesthetic is luxury but she doesn’t compromise on her high standards when it comes to environmentally friendly and sustainable creations.

Iva’s original designs have been called "wearable art”: they are bright, colourful, shining and elegant. Each collection combines luxurious fabrics, playful and unexpected colour combinations and textiles are usually silk, linen and wool or a combination thereof. Silhouettes are feminine and complimentary to the female shape with bias cuts and structure where needed.

Originally from the Czech Republic, where her parents were tailors, Iva has skills that are disappearing slowly from the fashion world. She is the youngest member of the Lace Guild in Sydney and has studied kimono making with a sensei in Southern Japan. She is also a member of the Victorian Felt Makers Guild.

Iva was one of fifteen designers worldwide who were chosen to attend a Master Class at the Arts of Fashion Foundation in Paris and, through that experience, developed collaborations with prestigious Parisian Haute Couture Craftsmanship Houses including Maison Lesage and Atelier Lognon. One of the few who gained a certificate. In four weeks she designed and completed mostly by hand two highly detailed garments which were exhibited in The Louvre in Paris, 2014.

Upon graduating Raffles College of Design and Commerce she was invited to show at MBFWA and made her debut at Fashion Week in 2016. Iva's graduate collection, Revolution, Adaptation, Resolution. focused on the plight of refugees. Her current Resort Collection is inspired by the 1920’s fascination with Orientalism, Korean patchwork techniques and early 20th century artists such as Paul Klee and Sonia Delaunay.
